Circles

I was in the first or second
She showed me what to do
She made these little circles
I found so hard, but through
a lot of practice
I tried and tried again
I made those little circles
With my very own ink pen.

Now when I see a circle
These memories flood back
I see a little child
Turning circles with a black
pen, over and over
again and again.
